Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital (SBMCH) was established in 2003–04, under the Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust, and integrated into Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research (BIHER) around 2004. It functions as a tertiary care centre, dedicated to undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD/MS)—and allied health sciences education, along with medical training, research, and patient care.
